The PICOT536 System on Module is built for industrial edge AI applications that demand both high performance computing and real time responsiveness. Its heterogeneous processor architecture combines a quad core Arm Cortex A55 cluster for complex application logic and Linux based stacks, with two RISC V co processors - E907 and E902 - that handle deterministic, low latency tasks such as sensor fusion, motor control, or communication protocol offloading.
The integrated 2 TOPS NPU efficiently runs INT8/INT16 models for object detection, defect inspection, or voice commands directly on the device. No cloud round trip, no latency jitter. Meanwhile, the ISP supports high resolution cameras and the video encode block delivers H.264 up to 4K @ 25 fps.
The module integrates LPDDR4/LPDDR4X with inline ECC (up to 8 GB) and eMMC storage (up to 64 GB), along with dual Ethernet PHY, PCIe 2.1, USB 3.0, multiple MIPI CSI (4x 2 lane or 2x 4 lane), LVDS/MIPI DSI, and 11x UART. The 314-pin card edge connector ensures reliable connection in vibration prone environments. With an 8 layer PCB and wide 3.4–5.5 V input, the T536 SOM is engineered for industrial temperature operation and long term availability.
